Even Princesses have bad habits!
After Princess Picky Nose, my mum says, "What about the men? Men scratch their bottoms a lot! How about Prince Scratch Bottom?" I settled on Prince Scratchy Bum!
One went missing from the school set and mild panic set in!
Just look across The Arts and consider the incredible levels of achievement attained by humanity so far, then imagine what the future will bring!
I was commissioned by 'Beers from Limburg' www.facebook.com/beersfromlimburg www.instagram.com/beersfromlimburg to write a poem about that sacred beverage called beer! It's brewed and loved worldwide, and rightly so.
There were 'Certain Fish' and perhaps they got sold!
Written for my mum on Mother's Day 2021, about a journey together that will always be with me.
Who's with me?!
What a n ice poem!
In recent years I have shared many personal opinions about the approach media takes, to informing us all about other countries. Too often negativity and spin are used, resulting in untruths. I only ever share because I care about this not being right!
Some ticks just want to be free!
We all have a personal choice, yes, but when you push yours on others and berate them for theirs, you're getting it wrong! Especially if you come loaded with and are persistent about utter nonsense!
In the internet world, it is too easy for many of us to respond to posts by veering off into our personal beliefs about anything we know of. Many conversation streams contain comments that are far removed from the original post, (mainly the negative type)! We are protected by screens, for I doubt that many would have the nerve to say what they respond with 'face-to-face'! It makes for poor quality debates! The 'Netflix' example here comes from a great man who I know can debate correctly!
Ok, it's my personal opinion, but sorry Boris, not a job well done I'm afraid!
My last poem was a dig at Boris himself! Now I have 'up'd the anti' and targetted many more! It's not for the faint hearted or for the ears of children; just so you are aware!
I believe I have it and it does what I say! The footage of the boy at the end sums up how the body acts with it!
This year I had a medical journey to go through, taking months to get diagnosed with Cervical Myelopathy, (hence my recent Cervical Neuropathy poem being incorrect)! Here's my poetic reflection of things. I still have a few months to go before I fully recover, but thankfully I'm on my way now.
My younger sister told me the chutney tale recently and I imagined this is how things really went down, (I may have elaborated a tiny bit)!
