Humans naturally feel every emotion about so many things. See this as a connection between us all, as you are never facing such feelings alone.
Most of us are ruled by it, (including me)!
Racism is illogical! There is only one thing truly worth hating...
In the preschool I work in, the perimeter railings are very close to our playground and certain toys make it over or under them! We collect most of them, but on this occasion one was returned in a most interesting manner!
Wait for it!
Supremacy belongs to no-one specific; it's found everywhere! To claim something as ridiculous as one set of specific people are supreme is farcical.
I wrote this in support of China's great effort to contain the Covid-19 outbreak, which unfairly received quite a few very negative media stories in the world press. I have lived it and know that some of the coverage, which helped instigate anti-China/Chinese sentiment around the world was totally wrong, both in terms of accuracy and cruelty. This counts for China, but these words count for the world too. There is real positivity everywhere and it needs more highlighting.
Some tasks are tricky business!
I guess they'll be quite 'flashy' too!
I have a habit of promoting positivity, even when dealing with the negative. I do not do this blindly, as in ignore negative situations globally! I just aim to ensure that we also give the best of us the full attention it deserves. Wherever we live there is both positive and negative, but we must never let one outweigh the other when we reflect on things, particularly the negative. Surely negativity must be overcome with positivity, not more negativity!
My message to the world in July 2020!
A comical viewpoint of Mosquitos and their pesky bites!
A passing thought about Bear Grylls and his adventures, turned into this poem! All for fun, as may he never meet such a bear!
If they write of you, be sure they write well!
There are many things we can say and think, 'Why do we say it that way?!'
There's always room for nonsense!
Be sure to have more than one!
Naturally one written with passion, all in honour of my big sister, who had to conquer Non-Hodgkins lymphoma in 2020 and did just that! The spirit she showed throughout her ordeal was immense and it was strange for me to feel even prouder of a sister I am so proud of already! This poem helped me express that sentiment. Love you to bits big sister and always will. (By the way, I was recovering from a cold, but had to record this timing it with her birthday).
